Ambrose Donates Print for Family Renew Community's Artists with Hearts of Gold

Daniel Ambrose has donated a signed, framed giclee print of New Beginnings, which features egrets flying over Thompson’s Creek in Ormond Beach to Family Renew Community’s fundraiser, Artists with Hearts of Gold, scheduled for November 7, 2019 at The Casements, the historical Rockefeller riverfront home. Event coordinator and local artist Karlene McConnell describes the inaugural event as ‘a classy-casual evening’ with local artists exhibiting and selling their artwork, along with a silent auction, live music, heavy hors d’oeuvres and beverages. A portion of all proceeds will benefit the Family Renew Community and its programs.

Family Renew Community is a faith-based organization that provides a safe, stable home for homeless families with children, and equips them with the tools they need to be self-sufficient. Currently celebrating 30 years, Family Renew Community has been restoring hope to struggling families throughout Volusia County since 1989, and recently received the Nonprofit of the Year Award from the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Daniel Ambrose works and teaches in egg tempera and oils, and is represented by galleries and museums along the East Coast. He is a member of the American Society of Marine Artists and a co-founder of the American Tonalist Society, which held its Inaugural Exhibition, Shades of Gray, at the historic Salmagundi Club in New York City in May 2019.

A Florida native with a professional career spanning more than 25 years, Daniel Ambrose's paintings have been exhibited in many solo gallery shows and fine art museums, including the Permanent Collection of The Museum of Arts and Sciences in Daytona Beach. Throughout his career, Ambrose has supported a number or family, educational and environmental institutions with his art.
